My baby is 34 months. Last week he made it to the Zoo for the first time.
2 days before the trip, at home, we watched a movie together.
An elderly character died in the movie and sunny wanted to know
why everyone was sad. Dreading 200 'whys' in a row, I answered very causally that people are sad because the grandpa died. It worked, he seemed uninterested.
Back at the Zoo, we were watching the elephants.
A mother and a baby elephant were kept enclosed in a small area while other elephants were feeding. Turns out, they do this to avoid any aggression that may be directed to
the little baby if he tries to take a nibble from an older member.
Someone in the audience commented that the mother looked very sad.
"That is becoooooooos, his grandpa died"
My son offered the explanation rather loudly.
It cracked me up.
When I turned around, I saw some frowning faces.
Now I am stunned. What a politicay incorrect moment!
How can my right be so wrong for you?
